Hi everyone, welcome to at home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello my friends, I hope you're having a great Monday already or Sunday night if you hear this

before Monday comes. I have had a very full week again but I wanted to try to stick to my commitment

to just talking about just a few concepts about the attributes of God that might encourage you

along your way. I have actually run into multiple people this week from different places,

different countries, different cities who actually happen to come across my pathway and said,

hello are you Sally Clarkson and I'll tell you about a funny one tomorrow for two time Tuesday.

When we think about this whole thing about knowing God and why does it matter to know his attributes

to ponder him, to study him and I think that we need to understand that God was the designer

friendship. That's how he lived out his ministry when he was on the earth with his disciples.

He was the creator of personal relationships, he cares deeply about intimacy and love and I know

that for myself, maybe we all feel like this but I feel like sometimes I am of course an

introvert and I ponder some things deeply and I think I don't know many people who really know me.

Now some people think they know me because they've listened to my podcast or they

have read one of my books and that's a part of knowing about me but it's the people who

see me when I first wake up in the morning and know about more intimate details of my life.

Maybe know what my favorite colors are, what irritates me, what some of the details of my story,

the story of my life is and so when I feel like someone shares my values, my priorities, my experiences,

they understand me, they know me because they have been with me and clay and our children.
