Asaam al-I'm going to Allahi verkato, dear brothers and sisters,

welcome back to people of Quran, where every night I share with you a story of how one of our pious predecessors

interacted with an aye from the Quran. So tonight we're going to go through a

very interesting incident. You know, the Suhaba, one thing we see from the

companions of the Prophet

so I some that's very beautiful is they used to take their children to the sites

where certain incidents happen with the Prophet's

like a sallam or battles happened or or notable notable syra events happened.

And they would explain to them what happened that day

and they sort of reminisce with one another.

And this is one of those incidents.

So we see here a narration of Saadeh-Nirubir,

He's one of the people of Medina who embraced Islam and he used to be one of those

people that would one of those people that would take his students to these sites and show them what had happened and explain to them what had happened.

So he took his companions and he took his students to the site of the Battle of Bedir.

And at that point he was so old that he was blind.

And he said to them as he reached Bedir, he said,

La Kune to Ma'akum al-A-Bibedrin,

when Ma'i-Bassari, he said, if I was with you right now in Bedr and I had my eyesight,
