I'm sure you've been following this story with Jordan Neely and this chokehold death in the subway.

What's your response to the news?

Well, I was thrilled, but this thing never should have gone to trial. Usually on my show,

when I do my writings and stuff, I wait to weigh in on these things until after I've seen all the

evidence and everything else. But when you find out that this guy was a lunatic who had

been arrested dozens and dozens of times who had assaulted people in subway stations

before, on subways before, you'd say, why are we demonizing a guy who did the right thing and
