Welcome back, everyone, to the Grace Curley show. We've talked a lot today about the news that Daniel Penny was found not guilty in a trial in Manhattan.

And the repercussions from that, the fact that it seems to support this idea that we haven't completely lost the plot that when a when a person stands up for

his fellow man and tries to protect people from harm that that person should not be punished

and part of this topic that comes out is if you start to tell people not to do those things, if you start to make it so that

someone standing up and doing the right thing is going to be punished, then less people will stand

up for one another will end up like a country where we just videotape acts of violence and

we don't actually step in and do anything about it. Now, my next guest is someone who did this exact thing.

He stepped in, even though he could have easily sat there and let things happen and not engaged.

He decided not to do that. That would be Jean-Paul LaPierre. And this is just a flashback to
