That was Ukrainian President Vlodomir Zelenskyy arriving in Turkey, where Ukraine and Russia may be holding

peace talks today.

I say maybe, because there's confusion over who, if anyone, will actually go to the meeting?

The Kremlin has said today that President Vladimir Putin won't be there, despite being

the person who suggested the talks in the first place.

And responding to statements by Moscow that a meeting was planned for this morning

and then postponed until this afternoon, a Turkish ministry official told CNN, no meeting

has been scheduled yet.

What the source did say, though, is that a, quote, technical Russian delegation is in Istanbul,

as well as some U.S. officials. While Zelensky is in Istanbul, as well as some US officials,

while Zelensky is in Ankara to meet with the Turkish president.

Kiva Moscow aren't thought to have held direct talks at any level since Russia launched

its unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
