We start with an update on the latest potential deal to end the war in Ukraine.

The U.S. and Ukraine have made progress on the wording of a new draft proposal, but haven't agreed on a final text.

That's according to a Ukrainian source with direct knowledge of the talks,

who says key differences remain in three areas.

Ukraine may want to avoid giving up territory to Russia,

it wants a viable pathway to join NATO,

and further changes before agreeing to limit the size of its army.

Ukraine and European officials reportedly revised a 28-point peace plan drafted by the U.S.

that appeared to be a wish list from Russia, according to one senator, down to 19 points.

President Donald Trump says he's directing special envoy Steve Wickhoff to meet with Russian

President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

He says his other key negotiator, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, will meet with the Ukrainians.

On truth social, Trump said he'll meet with Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky

when a deal is complete or is in its final stages.
