Summary

"... a thrill of hope the weary world rejoices." ~ O Holy Night, a timeless Christmas carol, composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847   There's a lot going on in the world today that is cause for stress. In fact, you may wonder if you'll ever feel at peace in the world again. In this week's series, you'll discover ways to feel at peace in the world regardless of what's going on around you. As the end of the year approaches and with Christmas celebrated this week, tensions can run high as we maneuver around cherished traditions that now require social distancing from loved ones.  This week is also a week to discover how not to take things so personally and how to roll with the punches a little more.   This is part 6 of a 7-part Peace On Earth meditation series, episodes 2187-2193.   THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: You're invited to take part in a Peace Quest. Every day this week, focus on not taking things so personally. To do this, try not to focus on "I" statements. If you are stressed about the insensitive way someone spoke to you, for example, instead of thinking, "I can't believe she said that! Instead, try reframing your thoughts to a more objective stance such as, "She must be stressed. She probably didn't mean to say that to me." You'll be surprised by how much peace on earth de-personalizing things can bring to you!   THIS WEEK'S MEDITATION TECHNIQUES:   Day 1:   Peace Visualization Day 2:  Affirmation "Peace is all around me." Day 3:  Inhale Visualizing Peace, Exhale Sending Out Peace Day 4:  Dyan Mudra technique Day 5:  Fourth Chakra Focus Day 6:  Layer the week's techniques together Day 7:  Weekly Reflection Meditation   LET'S SUPPORT EACH OTHER - WANT TO SHARE YOUR MEDITATION  RITUAL WITH YOUR FELLOW MEDITATORS?    Let's connect and inspire each other!
