travelers in this world, and God has many wonderful truths to teach us along the way. For the next

I absolutely despise being engaged in conflict, especially personally. I want to get along, do you?

Sometimes I meet people who seem like they thoroughly enjoy conflict, but that's not a good thing.

You know, the Bible says at the end of the age, there will be wars and rumors of wars. That's just a mark of a sin-cursed world that we're living in.

And yet it's inevitable.

If you're going to do anything, if you're going to do the right thing, especially,

there's going to be conflict along the way.

We've enjoyed our studies so much through Philippians Chapter 1,

and there's a note of victory and of joy in the entire passage.

But when you come to the end of the chapter, the apostle Paul says beginning in verse 28,

and in nothing terrified by your adversaries, which is to them an evident token of perdition,

but to you of salvation and that of God.

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ,

not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake,

having the same conflict which you saw in me and now here to be in me.
