travelers in this world, and God has many wonderful truths to teach us along the way. For the next

few moments, we turn our attention to the Word of God, the only roadmap for this journey. You'll find

Join us now as we study the scriptures together. It is our prayer that you will enjoy the journey. Well, for the last several days in our study, we've been stuck, stuck on one phrase.

And I use that word lightly because the truth is we're not stuck at all. It's liberating.

The Holy Spirit has stopped us here. He's arrested our attention with this one phrase from Philippians chapter 1, verse 20,

where Paul wrote, according to my earnest expectation and my hope,

that in nothing I shall be ashamed,

but that with all boldness, as always,

so now also, Christ shall be magnified in my body,

whether it be by life or by death.

And here's the phrase, you know it by now,

four little words, Christ shall be

magnified. We've camped here for a little while in our study. In reality, what I'm trying to do

is brainwash you. That's right, I'm brainwashing you, but it's a good brainwashing because it's the

washing of water by the word. It's the truth of scripture. And I'm hoping that the

Holy Ghost has put this so deeply in your heart. It will become a part of the very fabric of your life

every day to live for one thing that Christ shall be magnified. We've come to this conclusion in our

study that my life, your life, is the lens through which others view the Lord Jesus Christ.
