Several years ago, when we first began the Enjoying the Journey broadcast, we started with my favorite book of the Bible.

I've adopted it really is my life's study on the book of Philippians. And the theme, of course, of that great book is the joy of the

Lord Jesus Christ. Truly, it is the Bible treaties on what it means to enjoy the journey. Now we're

thrilled to share this anniversary series with you again

in the hopes that God will use it in your life

to help you learn to enjoy the Lord Jesus Christ

at whatever stage you happen to be on on life's journey.

We live in a world of conflict, and I've got to tell you, I hate it.

I absolutely despise being engaged of conflict. And I've got to tell you, I hate it. I absolutely despise being engaged in conflict, especially personally. I want to get along, do you? Sometimes I meet people who seem like they

thoroughly enjoy conflict, but that's not a good thing. You know, the Bible says at the end of the

age, there will be wars and rumors of wars. That's just a mark of a sin thing. You know, the Bible says at the end of the age, there will be wars and rumors of wars.

That's just a mark of a sin-cursed world that we're living in. And yet it's inevitable. If you're

going to do anything, if you're going to do the right thing, especially, there's going to be

conflict along the way. We've enjoyed our studies so much through Philippians chapter one,

and there's a note of victory and of joy in the entire passage.

But when you come to the end of the chapter, the apostle Paul says beginning in verse 28,
