Several years ago, when we first began the Enjoying the Journey broadcast, we started with my favorite book of the Bible.

I've adopted it really is my life's study on the book of

Philippians. And the theme, of course, of that great book is the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Truly, it is the Bible treaties on what it means to enjoy the journey. Now we're thrilled to share

this anniversary series with you again in the hopes that God will use it in your life to help you learn to enjoy the Lord Jesus Christ at whatever stage you happen to be on on life's journey.

I trust that these studies from the Word of God today will refresh your spirit and renew your strength for the days ahead.

Well, for the last several days in our study, we've been stuck, stuck on one phrase.

And I use that word lightly because the truth is we're not stuck at all. It's liberating.

The Holy Spirit has stopped us here. He's arrested our attention with this one phrase from

Philippians chapter 1 verse 20, where Paul wrote according to my earnest expectation and my hope

that in nothing I shall be ashamed but that with all all boldness, as always, so now also Christ

shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death. And here's the phrase,

you know it by now, four little words, Christ shall be magnified. We've camped here for a little while

in our study. In reality, what I'm trying to do

is brainwash you. That's right. I'm brainwashing you, but it's a good brainwashing because it's

the washing of water by the word. It's the truth of scripture. And I'm hoping that the Holy

Ghost has put this so deeply in your heart. It will become a part of the very fabric of your life every day

to live for one thing that Christ shall be magnified.

We've come to this conclusion in our study that my life, your life, is the lens through which

others view the Lord Jesus Christ.
