0:04.7	show and let's just jump into it. And the first thing we're going to talk about today is this
0:08.0	interesting and massive news around Facebook and really just truth. And if you've missed some
0:12.6	recent shows, you know, we've talked about Facebook on the show recently, specifically about its
0:16.0	recent decision to not remove posts made by politicians that violated the platform's rules,
0:19.9	even if those posts contain false information.
0:22.3	And you know, following that,
0:23.3	a lot of people criticize that move,
0:24.7	saying that the company was basically allowing politicians
0:26.8	to just lie on Facebook.
0:28.2	And the reason we're talking about this once again today
0:30.2	is because those criticisms are now hitting
0:31.9	exceptionally close to home for Facebook.
0:33.8	Yesterday, the New York Times reported
0:35.0	that Facebook employees had written a letter
0:36.5	to Mark Zuckerberg and other top executives calling on them to change the policy. According to the
0:40.5	Times, the letter was posted on Facebook Workplace, which is the company's internal communication
0:44.1	board for employees and has been there for two weeks now. And according to multiple sources,
0:48.0	as of Monday, more than 250 employees had signed the message. And in this letter, the employees
0:51.8	say that Facebook is a place of free expression, but that
0:55.0	they are worried that the policy would undo all the work that they've done since the 2016
0:58.3	election to fight misinformation.
