Wednesday night, we continue our through the Bible Sunday.

If you're just joining us here at Athe, I always like to kind of remind people what we're doing,

because we're actually trying to get some work done.

And it only takes 13 years for us to go through the Bible, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book.

And so we kind of stick to that plan.

While some churches, I understand now, are doing Christmas series and stuff right now.

And I'll usually do on the Christmas Sunday.

We'll talk about a Christmas sermon.

But we, for the most part, stick to our through the Bible plan and study because it's all about Jesus, the whole thing.

So it makes it good.

So why don't you turn to Acts chapter 9?

We're going to pick up where we left off on Wednesday night.

And I'm almost going to tackle a little bit of this chapter like we do on a Wednesday night.

We usually draw a small text from our upcoming Wednesday for our weekend service like this.

But I'm going to do a little bigger section because I want you to see one of the big events in the New Testament that's really going to reshape the whole New Testament. It's a big moment, and so I don't want us to miss it.

Have you ever noticed how people can be so sincere, but they can also be sincerely wrong?

And just because someone's sincere doesn't mean that they're correct.

In fact, sincerity and passion, just because somebody's really

passionate about something doesn't mean that it's correct. And it's something we have to kind of weigh

ourselves and hopefully have self-awareness to know that just because I'm passionate about something

or just because I'm even sincere about it, it doesn't make it true.

I can be off-court. There's been a lot of people who've been sincerely wrong about a lot of things.
