So before we get to Durante Jones and your thoughts on Washington's new defensive coordinator,

what was your reaction to the Belichick not being a first ballot Hall of Famer?

Two things that are not incompatible.

One was, it's absurd because he's inarguably the most successful coach of all time.

But then there was the petty side of me who, like any normal person, dislikes Bill Belichick

and sort of reveled in the comeuppance that he got for treating basically everybody like an ass.

And, you know, I just, you know, to some degree,

how you treat other people in life should count for something. And he was just a miserable person.

And I, there's part of me, there's part of me, the petty, small part of me, Kevin, that thinks, you know what, if he needs to sit one year and maybe use this as a lesson in, you know, just building alliances and just being a decent

human being, then maybe this is the right thing.

You know, it's interesting because one of the takes from people is that it was the fact that media people couldn't stand him, that he wasn't great to media people.

But, you know, people inside that sport revered him and liked him, and people have gotten to know him outside of football, like him a lot.
