Offensive Coordinator in focus today. Why? Well, he met with the media, and we got a little

bit more insight into how the decision is going to be made as to who the starter is. Truth be told,

when you listen to this, it sounds like the decision already has been made. You mentioned that it would

be nice to say Drake with the first team offense. What's holding you back from that right now?

Jacoby.

You know, right now he's our starting quarterback.

So, you know, the good news is this week we'll get to play everybody.

You know, we're still in the evaluation process.

We have one more preseason game and our guys are going to play.

So we have another chance to evaluate.

Is there still a chance for Drake to be the week on-one? I'm sure. You know, coach said it's open competition. Obviously, we have one more

game to go. I'm sure there's a chance. You know, but I think as you go in, there's still a process

of how you bring a rookie quarterback along. You know, so I think that's important to remember it

as well. There's certain things in this offense that, you know, Jacoby haven't played in this offense,

understand some of the tools that you can use to get you out of certain situations, pressure situations,

things like that that Drake is still learning.

So, you know, but he has really been impressive the last few weeks of practice and in the game.

And, you know, he's moving in the right direction for sure. But again, Jacoby has tons of

experience, not just in the NFL, but in this system. And we've won games with him in Cleveland.

So I really understand. I feel comfortable with his understanding.

It's very apparent that Patriots had a plan for Drake May, which was to develop, develop, develop,
