Patriots had their second day of full pads practice. It's in the books. We'll be joined later on in the show by Kairas Tonga, who stopped by right after practice and sat down with Paul and I.

But let's get right to it. It's Mike Duceau, Evan Lazzar, Paul Parolo, myself. Alex is in the booth today. And let's talk about what we saw. I thought it was a good day for the defense, not the best day that we've seen from camp from the offense in Drake. I thought it wasn't really about the pressure to me. It felt like Drake was a little off, not his best practice, and it felt like a lot of the coverage was really good on the receivers, which was surprising considering that Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis were not at practice. You thought maybe they'd be able to take advantage of some of those guys down the depth chart playing a cornerback, but not really seem like the offense was stumbling a little bit. They did have their moments in the red zone. There were a handful of plays that they made well, but overall, defense won the day. Yeah. I would agree with Mike. It was a lot of red zone work, so that does make some of the windows, obviously, tighter and a little bit more difficult, but I thought he had some opportunities, May. You know, one in particular that really stood out was a throw that I thought he just

sort of led too far, a Hunter Henry in the back corner of the end zone.

You know, it wasn't without some highlight throws, too.

He had a really nice throw to Diggs.

zone, which was a really nice pass. So, you know, there were some good plays, too. And in fairness

to me, I thought the receivers had some opportunities to make some place for him that didn't.

2:11.2

Williams being one of them, I thought, failed to catch, I thought, a pretty accurate throw.

The one to booty really stood out to me. It was kind of layered in between the coverage on the sideline. Good throw. Really top-notch throw for May. I thought Booty was pretty active today. A couple good runs too. I thought he was targeted more. He had a great block. Sorry, F. Booty had a great block on a toss sweep to stevenson on one of those

red zone plays you watched the blocking cracked well he sprung the guy for a touchdown so it was a nice

round yeah i i i had that one was a good one a nice toss play and uh to campbell's side seal the edge and
