We are high above the practice fields here at training camp,

We're going to be covering the first day of pads today. That's always a kind of

a milestone day in training camp. The first day, just like I said, that they put full pads on,

and the physicality begins. So it's Mike Dousseau, it's Paul Perillo, it's Edna Lizarre,

myself Fred Kirsch, Matt Morel in the booth,

and a cast of thousands in the background making this possible.

We'll be here for as long as they have us covering practice and talking about what we see.

So guys, first day of pads, how is that different from everything else we've seen so far?

Yeah, physicality clearly is the first part of it. And listening to the players late last week,

it sounded like they're all anxious to get out there and actually maybe hit a little bit.

Kean White especially seems like he's looking forward today today hoping the offense runs a lot on him.

You know, seeing the practice plan.

Get ready. Going to start in the high red zone and work your way right down onto the goal line there at the end. So it should be a pretty physical practice, a lot of hitting, a lot of, you know, the snap of the pads and the helmets, as we like to hear. So last week we had Mike Unwen you on Patriots Unfiltered,
