Welcome to Patriots Training Camp 2025.

I'm Fred Kirst, joined by Paul Perillo, Evan Lazard, Mike Duce Dousseau,

and we are going to be here with you for the first day of public training camp.

We are excited.

The weather is beautiful.

We're high above the practice fields here at Gillette Stadium.

And we're going to bring

you everything we can from practice today. Join us after practice as well. Deuce and Paul and

Evan will have wrap-ups. But it's a big day for the Patriots and for Patriots fans as we kick

off training camp. And guys, let's jump right into it. What are you most excited about? I was just excited at football's back. And, you know, we're going to be a slow build to real football. But it's always a fun feeling here. First day of school, everybody back, seeing the media down there. We'll hear from Vrable again a few minutes. But just to get going, I think that's the biggest thing.

And as I said on Patriots Un filtered yesterday, once we get through this day, I'm like,

all right, let's get the pads. Then we want to get to the preseason. But we're starting to train rolling. So I think it's always exciting. Yeah, there is an energy, right? this has been around the team. I think the entire off season since Rehbo was announced as the new

head coach. I think there's been a renewed energy and enthusiasm, and I'm going to be easy. What am I excited about Drake May? Yeah. You know, the quarterback is to me, the marquee guy on any team, and the Patriots have a young and talented one. I want to see what it looks like in year two. There's a little bit of extra juice driving into the building today.

You did feel it a little bit in the car.

Did you have a certain, uh, 27th training camp for me, and I'm feeling it. Did you have a certain song that you were playing on the radio? I did, Fred. Crazy train. Crazy train. Oh, okay. RIP to the reggae. Yeah. Yeah. So it was a, you do feel a little bit of that extra juice, but I think overall kind of in the same lines of Deuce. It's just, there's so much optimism right now with this team. It really feels like the coaching's better, the roster's better. Drake May is obviously exciting as well. So let's see it. Let's start to put this thing together and see, you know, where they can go from here. Just not to oversimplify it, but I mean, this year, Stefan Diggs, Milton Williams, two names that you're going to see come out here that are, you know, legit blue chip proven players in this league, something they haven't had enough of the last few years. I'm excited to see those guys. New faces out there hopefully can elevate both sides of the ball. Yeah, I mean, I'm excited about everything you guys just mentioned.

And just the fact that we got a lot of Christmas presents.
