Hey, what's up everybody? Welcome into Tom Carren's Patriots Talk podcast. You know I had some

high hopes going into Sunday's game.

This is the aftermath, as you know, and the Patriots had an opportunity to get the three and five and three and one in the division.

But it's all for not. Why is it all for not? Because they lose to the Miami Dolphins, 31 to 17 in South Florida.

Why'd they lose? Well, the other team has better players.

It's really that simple.

Tyree Kill and Jalen Waddle combined for 15 catches, 233 yards, and two touchdowns.

That's with a patchwork offensive line in front of Tuatunga Vilella, just like the Patriots have.

And when Mack Jones needed to try and come up with an answer, well, he completed 10 passes

for I believe it was 86 yards and a touchdown to six wide receivers. Additionally, when Mack had

an opportunity to complete a throw down the sideline on a very well-schemed ball to cap a nice drive

that the Patriots had going on, didn't have the arm strength to deliver the ball that he needed

to deliver to Kendrick Bourne. The Miami Dolphins forced Mack to throw outside on Sunday

because they saw how he feasted in the middle of the field

against the Buffalo Bills. Mac throwing outside, not a good recipe. He doesn't have a strong

enough arm. So even though the play design was excellent with the DeMario Douglas motion,

the look outside, and then Devante Parker running a post to the end zone,

Jaywin Ramsey saw what was going on, slagged off,

slagged off. That might be a European, just expletive, but either way, we don't know that

for real, so we're going to leave it in. He sloughed off of Devante Parker and then just waited for

the Ephis pitch to drop in to his arms that was thrown out to Kendrick Bourne. Matt, what happened
