And he is fantastic when it comes

to specifically us gathering some free agency intel and what the rest of the league

might view these players as being worth on the open market and when I say these players

I mean specifically Patriots players Kyle Duggerger, Mike O'enou, Hunter Henry.

We even get into that conversation a bit as well because I view him as maybe the third

most important free agent for New England this off season.

which would if he played on the tag pay him a shade under 14 million dollars for 20. I think it's a smart move. And the reason I say that,

I said it on an early edition earlier this week, as a negotiating tool, it makes sense in a

variety of ways. Number one, it's much closer to what his average annual value on his next

long-term contract should be than the

franchise tag is the franchise tag for a safety is 17 million dollars now with the franchise

tag you get that player it's 17 million fully guaranteed he's going to be on your roster
