This is our overtime segment where we just kind of hit the news of the day.

It's fast.

It's easy.

I'm going to be doing these.

Chris has taken a bit of a vacation.

So I got to preempt today with news that we didn't expect.

And I'm pretty excited about it. I mean, if you look up

game changer in the dictionary, it's going to be a picture of Patrick Mahomes because that's just

the way he is and what he does. And I think that's great. It's astounding. It frustrates me that

I continue. As much as I know about this, man, I've been covering him since the day he walked into the NFL. I still underestimate him. I did not think there was any way that he would be back out here, less than six months after surgery, to be out and running around on the practice field. I'm confounded to tell you the truth. Now, it's not full go, and there's some things.

We'll talk about the details here.

But the bottom line is Patrick Mahomes has made his recovery process maybe a little bit less public than a lot of folks would like.
