0:59.6	For somebody my age, I was 10 in 1980. So I always think you look at the group of people that is
1:06.8	about five or 10 years older, that's the aspirational age for you.
1:16.6	So these high school movies in the 80s, my God, it was like programming for me.
1:19.5	Like it just was such an aspirational and interesting thing.
1:21.9	And in particular, seeing L.A.
1:25.5	I think of Valley Girl when I think of L.A. first.
1:29.7	And when I moved to Los Angeles, man, did it feel like Valley Girl? And that film in particular has an authenticity. It feels like it is what it felt like at that

1:41.8	were the Valley Girl kids. it definitely hasn't it has a
1:45.5	feeling about it. There's definitely feeling about it. Martha Coolidge has such a great sense of not
