I love your community and I love the show. |
| 0:57.4 | Thank you so much. We definitely love you here at Growcast. The book dropped. Reefer Wellness is out. You've been busy doing interviews, doing content. You had me back on your show, the Bioactive podcast. Thank you so much for that. Talk to us about what you've been up to and what |
| 1:11.2 | the book drop was like. Oh my gosh. Always up to like a hundred different things. But yeah, the book's |
| 1:16.1 | finally out, which is great because it's so much more fun talking about it when people can actually |
| 1:21.7 | have it in their hands. So it's been great. I've done a bunch of book signings at dispensaries at bookshops, mostly in New |
| 1:29.7 | England, because I have a little baby at home, so I'm not really traveling across the U.S. right now, |
| 1:35.5 | but it's been received, like, incredibly well by people. Even different, like, educational programs |
| 1:43.9 | are now taking the book as, as like a resource for the courses. |
| 1:47.9 | And I think that's just absolutely amazing to see that, you know, those words that were put into that book are taken so seriously and, like, actually changing lives. |
| 1:57.4 | I think those are the craziest emails to get of like, you wrote this book and it changed the way that I consume this plant. So I think that's been the best feedback that I could ever get from writing a book. And now I'm kind of shifting my, my attention back to doing more research. So I love doing research, writing papers, all of that fun stuff. But yeah, staying busy for sure. |
| 2:20.2 | That's really cool. And I saw that book signing tour. Looks like a lot of fun. Looks like a ton of fun to meet people like that. And like you said, meet the patients one-on-one. you know, this segues nicely. |
| 2:31.0 | And what I wanted to say, which is one of the things I respect about you, Riley, is you do talk to the patients one-on-one. |
| 2:36.0 | You do have boots on the ground. |
| 2:37.3 | I think that gets lost on a lot of, a lot of people, a lot of regulators, a lot of even gondropreneurs, really. They don't grow the plant. I recommended that once at a talk for gondropreneurs. It's like, grow it. Learn it. Learn the plant. It's a |
| 2:51.2 | plant. Grow it. And also a lot of these people don't connect with the people who use it and actually speak to them. And you do that. I wanted to give you, you do both those things. I wanted to give you credit on that as you really do stay connected to the plant and the people. Very well. It's so important. I also tell everybody to grow the plant. I'm like, your perspective on this medicine is going to change |
