One of my least favorite things to do is wait.

I am not a patient person.

I always get in the wrong line in the fast food restaurant or the drive-thru.

I always choose the wrong toll lane on a toll road.

It's just the way it works.

My wife said to me recently, I think the Lord's trying

to teach you patience. And indeed, he is. I don't like waiting rooms. I don't like holding patterns.

All of us want what we want, when we want it, and usually that is right now. And really,

our fast food, have it now, instant society has really

promoted that kind of lifestyle. But in spiritual things, that's not the way God works. God doesn't

work on our timetable. No, we must wait on his time. And I want to remind you, God's timing is always right.

So he's never early, but he's never late.

He is the God of perfect timing.
