Yes welcome back just me here this morning, recording. It might not be

morning when you're listening to this, but that doesn't matter at all. But

welcome to a special little in-between episode where I am in

conversation for the second time with my favorite guest of all time. So back in

January 2020, almost exactly, four years ago to the day actually actually I had a conversation with the author of

what is still my favorite personal finance book of all time the simple path of

wealth is the most distilled the purest book on wealth building that I found and I still recommend it to people

all the time. Probably once a week I mentioned that book to somebody. Now the author of

The Simple Path, J.L Collins, has followed up with a new book. It's called

Pathfinder's and it's full of stories of how people have taken the teaching from the

simple path and applied it to their lives. And it's a really diverse bunch of people from all over the world and it's

great to see how they have made adjustments, maybe based on their situation or

their jurisdiction. And of course it's really inspiring to see how people's lives

have been changed by taking control of their money.

So just a quick heads up, right?

I had a nightmare with this recording.

About 10 minutes before JL came on the line, I had like a properly serious almost catastrophic

issue with the audio on my Mac very nearly had to cancel at the very last minute

so I ended up kind of gerry-rigging an audio set up on my PC my work laptop and that kind of did the job

But it might sound a little bit different to normal. I swear I've never been so stressed in the run up to a recording

But that might be just because I'm such a fan of JL and I didn't want to keep him waiting.
