The Michael Berry Show, Pastor Ed Young, was doing a sermon this past fall, a series on the dangers of

wokeism. And we found those sermons to be so powerful that you will recall probably five or six

Mondays in a row, we played some part of those sermons on Monday. We heard from listeners across

the country when the series was over asking if we had stopped carrying the series because they

were looking forward to the next installment and we said the series is over. But people were

really appreciating hearing someone speak so boldly as Ed Young was. And over the last three to

four weeks as we've been preparing for today, we were talking about moments regarding moms that

mattered to us. And we remembered Ed Young during that series talking about mama bears and how

they teach their cubs. But this is allegory. This is for you to see that this is about bears,

but it's really about moms. And we thought it's pretty strong. I know about mama bears. I lived in

the mountains of North Carolina for over five years. We had black bears up there. I've been bear hunting.

Thank goodness I didn't see one. But I'll tell you something. You do anything about black bears

and most bears when they have cubs. Well, that mama bear will give her life in a skinny New York

minute to protect those clubs. A mama bear is one of the most vicious, vicious animals only

earth when the cubs are there. The cubs are bored in hibernation. She has one or two or sometimes four.

And that mama bear sticks for those cubs. See, the cubs bear cubs are not like normal animals.

Normal animals developed by instinct, not the bear family. In the bear family, the mama bear

has to teach those cubs by example, where to find food, where to find water, how to protect

themselves. Usually they hover down in the bottom if they could find a white pine tree in the

area of control and they will bed down there. So if mama is ever out forging for food, the cubs

can be there and she talked to him how to climb up that pine tree and be safe. Mama bears,

parents, you'd better be like that bear mama handles those cubs. If not, you're going to wake up and
