felons returned to Capitol Hill was another frightening preview of what Washington will look

Okay, here's a really important thing to remember. Donald Trump can't take a wrecking ball to American democracy all by himself.

He will need lots of help to do it.

He will need help from people in power who don't care about anything other than pleasing him.

And right now, we can see just how much help he's going to have if he manages to get back to the White House.

Because this week, just a couple of days ago, Trump made his first trip back to Capitol Hill

since his supporters mobbed it on January 6th. Since they stormed the halls of Congress, brutally

attack police officers, and threatened to hang the vice president. How do you think Republicans

welcomed back the twice impeached convicted felon who put all their lives in danger that day not so long ago?

Well, obviously, with a birthday cake, candles and all, along with a good amount of fawning, groveling, and praise for him.

He said very complimentary things about all of us. We had sustained applause. He said, I'm doing a very good

job. I mean, we're grateful for that. He saw me. I was sitting back a little ways. He saw me in there,

and he was like, hello, Marjorie. He's always so sweet and recognizes me. He's so sweet. Congresswoman,

he literally sent an angry, violent mob to your place of work.
