Good morning.

It's a joy to be with you guys and everyone online.

I have the incredible privilege of watching a good friend, an incredible pastor,

to step out of this church to fulfill a calling.

And I have another really good friend who's stepping in to this church to fulfill a calling.

So I have this unique seat to see this transition moment for you as a church,

which I really hope that you understand there's something significant going on.

And I want to say that there are very few leaders and pastors in the world

who live with such conviction and integrity like John Mark Comer.

I have been following him for many years.

We've been friends for a long time and I'm grateful for the pastor that you have had over the last several years.

And I'm really excited for Tyler too because Tyler's a great friend.

He's also a man of integrity and conviction.

And you're lucky to have them as leaders.

So honor them and bless them, pray for them.

I know it's been a hard season in Southern California.

The only thing we have going for is the weather, which is great.

But other than that, there's a lot of struggle right now.

As you can imagine.

But I'm glad to be with you.

I'm going to continue this series and then we'll just share some stories and then we'll pray together
