Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, whatever time of day it is for you.

I welcome you to the morning mindset and I need this. We need this,

and I need to get yourself ready for the day

from a spiritual perspective.

You need this, and I need this.

We need to get our minds aligned with God's truth so that we can have any

hope of living the day in a way that brings honor and glory to him because the way we

live the Christian life is to live it in the

power of Jesus Christ and we don't know what that is if we're not reading the Bible

regularly understanding how God thinks about this world that we live in.

Now, today we're going to talk more about this subject of how it looks for a husband

to be submissive toward his wife, putting her needs first,

living with her in a way that blesses her and brings security and strength and honor to her life.

And we're doing it by looking at 1st Peter chapter 3 verse number 7 where Peter says

likewise husbands live with your wives in an understanding way.

Now let's just dissect that phrase for a moment in an understanding way.

Understanding is not something that comes naturally to us

when we are talking about something that is very different from us, right?

I mean a very easy way for all of us to get the point here is to look at a different

culture from the one you were raised in. If you were raised in the Western

world, then look at an Asian culture or an African culture and compare it to the culture you were

raised in. You'll see many, many differences and you'll see behaviors and words
