Be a better you, one language at a time! *Rules and restrictions may apply. After years of suffering, Matt sought psychological treatment. He bravely made a report to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. He then filed a Police Report with the NSW Police about the repeated abuse he suffered as a child. After three years of Police investigations and legal preparation by the Public Prosecutor, the abuser pleaded guilty to all charges relating to the abuse of Matt and three other scouts from the same scout group. That former scout leader is now serving a lengthy period of imprisonment. Matt then acted in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, seeking to hold Scouts NSW to account for their failure to protect children like him from sexual abuse while under the care of their organization.
