Summary

Suspended in the black void of The Bottomless Pit, the crew of the Virgil submarine once again contemplate resuming descent. Marcus argues that the mission is the priority, but Marion and Sam are strung out and afraid of venturing into further unknowns. However, the matter is about to be taken out of their hands, as Sam’s piloting skills are put to the test.
