Just like the Bible says, let's start in the beginning.

I'm standing in a beautiful food court.

The glass ceilings, ferns and gorgeous 36-flavor soda machines

make me feel like I'm at the mall of the future

or a corporate campus of a company that makes pharmaceuticals.

But this is no ordinary food court.

This is Mana, the food court of Twin Hills Community Church,

an affluent 10,000-member mega-church with over 600 staff members

located in Broadriple Indianapolis.

And at this food court, you can get anything you want,

including a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

My name is Grant Hasech.

I'm a former journalist and current food blogger

for oh my god that's good.blogspot.com,

a personal project for which I'm currently seeking funding.

And it was at this very place, three weeks ago,

that I first stumbled on a story that I couldn't help but follow.

It had called to me, like Jesus had called the fisherman.

At least, I think that's right.

I'm not a Christian and I don't know much about it.
