Hello my friends, Carrie Green here. It is time for us to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word here.

Here on the morning night set, We're going to be looking at the

Gospel of John chapter 18 verses 4 through 6. I would encourage you to get out

your copy of the scripture so you can follow along here. You may have noticed this episode is part one of a two-part

episode. We're going to do the second part tomorrow so just hang in there we're going to look at two different

ways. People foolishly oppose God and we're going to see

one today, one tomorrow, so stick around for that. I also want to invite you to be a part of

All right, let's look at John 18 verses 4 through 6.

Now to set up the scene here,

Jesus has gone to the Garden of Gathsimini where he and his disciples often spent time.

And we know from the other gospel accounts he was there praying.

Well, in this instance, Judas Iscariot who has already left to make

arrangements to betray him has come with some soldiers and with weapons and with

torches and that's where we pick up here in verse with and said to them, whom do you seek?

They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth.

Jesus said to him,

I am he.

Judas who betrayed him was standing with him.

When Jesus said to them, I am he, they drew back and fell to the ground.
