Yo, parish orphans and retrogrades in a special episode today, I figured I was going to do

something that's at the same time basic and I think deeply illuminative for Christians who are

coming from either a Protestant tradition or maybe Orthodoxy, though they're less skeptical about

chronology.

It's both because it's really basic.

And this isn't deep research comprising this show,

but it's the kind of research and commentary that represents a sort of fact

that stares you in the face from plain sight.

And that's the fact that when you're a

Christian, if you're a Christian all the way, if you have the fullness of the faith, not only do

the priests and bishops in your church go all the way back to Rome, to the first priests and the first bishops who are the 12 apostles and the first head bishop,

which is Pope Peter.

But also you see, and the Orthodox share that with us, by the way, you also see that

everyone at the time within Christendom before the treaty of the four Constantine made Christianity legal edict of Milan and after accepted the papacy and this became really clear to me last summer as I debated Jay Dyer twice And it's become even more clear when you just look at

casual facts of, say, the first 35 or so popes. There's an absolute chain of evidence that links

the popes to being the visible sign of unity for Christendom on Earth. And it's a, it's kind of casual shorty.

You know, the kind of casual certitude you have when you know you're telling the truth.

And you don't have to invent an alibi. There's a casualness, a nonchalance, to that sort of certitude.

And where were you on the night of the fifth?

You can just say, well, okay, let me search what actually happened and what actually

happened will vindicate me because I am not a murderer.

I actually wasn't in the place that I'm suspected of being.
