Stage 2 of Paris Nice, Bazonville is the Depart, 163.7 km all the way to Fontain-Bleur,

scourting to the south and then the southeast of Paris. We still haven't left the shadow of the

great capital city. Relatively straightforward day, very, very flat two categorized

claims along the way, the Cotte de Grange le One, the Cotte de Merriville One rider out front all on

his own and it was Uno X as Jonas Grieger, who the race organisation continue to call Jonas

Whizley for reasons best known to themselves. Even though I managed to call him in the commentary

today, Jonas Vingigar on two separate occasions forcing the producers to edit everything out.

In the end though, with a little bit of tailwind and a little bit of crosswind, absolutely nothing

happened until the final two or three kilometers of the stage at which point absolutely everything

happened and I managed to misidentify rider after rider after rider, including the rider who actually

won the race. I managed to call him Arnold Deli before I very swiftly corrected myself and said

it's Maus Pedersen. It's very close on the end. Pedersen wins it. Pedersen takes the lead in Paris Nice.

And Magnescourt got third. And Magnescourt got third. That's quite surprising.

And EF a rider out. He was the EF guy in fifth. That would have been Vandenberg, I think

Malice Vandenberg. They kind of got two sprinty types. They were riding pretty hard. They

did a good lead out. They were looking really organised. I know.

Four are straight away. The whole, the last 15 kilometres they were.

More organised. The sprinters teams. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, way more organised.

Like, oh look. What was strange to get like a fifth in a third, isn't it?

Yeah, it is. We're just watching because obviously we have the footage we're in the commentary box

still. And Teddy Pogaccio is on his TT bike, cooling down behind the podium.

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Good was he today. Teddy Pogaccio is enjoying this as the intermediate sprint.
