Parry Nees gets underway stage 169.4, frigid undulating and wintry kilometers through

the chevres valley in part, passing through the Rombier forest to the west of Paris, just

10 kilometers in fact from the palace of Versailles.

This is typical parry, not parry rubé, parry Nees fair as it loops around before it starts

to race towards the sun eventually.

It took a little while for the breakaway to go and then eventually two riders got up

the road including Paul or Salam from Normandy, from Leverl, the home of one of the smelliest

cheeses in all of France and a rider who spends his winter running half marathon as he did

this year, the Doville half marathon in particular.

Here we're off the front for quite a while.

He was joined by Jonas Grigor, who had three unhappy years with Astana before joining the

Uno X team.

These are all facts I couldn't really get out in the commentary today because we were only

commenting for highlights.

Anyway, they were caught with 35 kilometers to go by a peloton who were interested in setting

it up for their bunch of brinches.

A couple little lumps and bumps on the way though.

One of them provided an opportunity, the last little uncategorised climb, the sprint

for Neilson, parallel to the American Premier for education easy post, to clip off the front,

to take the King of the Mountains points and indeed a load of bonus seconds as well as

a head of a very alert today pogarcher and briefly though as a split in the peloton as

Jonas Vingigorff and Jumbo Visma was caught out.
