I'm just tying my laces, getting ready to go out for a run. I try to go out a few times a week and compete

in a few races a year. There are millions of us worldwide who do it and there's something that we

all love talking about, our running shoes. Which ones work best for which race? How much money we're

spending? Have we tried out the carbon plates yet,

there's a lot to get into. And that's what today's episode of Business Daily is all about.

So I started my run and I'm actually on my way to my local running club. There's a lot of competition in this industry and brands are having to constantly reinvent their products to keep

consumers interested and it's about time I spoke to some of them. I think I've arrived at the home

of the Stockport Harriers, a local running club in the

northwest of England. When I rang them in Italy and asked if I could come and record, they were

very happy to chat to me about shoes. And if you're a runner too, that will come as no surprise.
