0:00.0	So one of my favorite phrases to use to sort of catch my wife up with why I'm about to spew out some sort of obscure references, hey, let me take you on my train of thought.
0:09.4	And in this particular instance, we are going to jump on board a few stops back.
0:14.3	So if you're like what I can only assume are millions of people around the globe, if not more, the end of 2020 not only brought a sort of welcome relief to an overall
0:23.1	pretty crummy year with the hopes and dreams that 2021 will be more of a return to
0:28.7	normalcy.
0:29.6	But then the ball dropping on Times Square also signaled another significant for many
0:35.2	various sad event.
0:36.8	That was that the TV show, The Office, had been taken off of Netflix.
0:41.3	And I swear I saw more social media posts about this than I did
0:45.3	vaccines and politics and resolutions combined.
0:49.3	As the end of the year grew closer and closer,
0:51.3	my wife and I have only recently started rewatching the office,
0:53.3	and I think more or less is something to have on while decorating for Christmas or wrapping presents
0:58.1	or playing a ton of board games, which we're finding ourselves more apt to do the older we get.
1:03.0	And the more we realize that board games maybe offer us an easy avenue to have our older kids hang out with us.
1:08.3	So on one particular occasion when one of my daughters was
1:10.8	lamenting that the upcoming loss of the office was imminent, I said, well, where's it going?
1:16.5	Do we need to buy DVDs or something like that? And her first response, at least to me, was almost an
1:21.9	audible gas with disdain. DVDs, okay, old man, to which I wanted to say, well, I can't find the old
1:27.4	VCR because
1:28.2	I'm guessing that VHS cassettes would actually be a little bit cheaper. And side note, did you know that it's almost impossible to find a VHS player these days? And if you share this fun fact with anybody under, I don't know, 40, the first reply is going to be something like, well, why would you want one? Not even a, oh, that's interesting.
1:48.6	So a quick Google search showed me that the office could now be found on the streaming service called Peacock.
