And I'm Deb Bowen.

And we would like to welcome you to our annual review of spooky paranormal tales and

high-strangeness in the news we've seen throughout 2022. In this episode we're going to share

news stories of ghost sightings, UFOs, Bigfoot, and even some unique job opportunities.

Before we dive in, I just want to say Deb, can you believe we're already approaching the end

of the year?

The math of this year has been the strangest, most elastic year I have ever lived through.

Alas, that's interesting.

Well, there have been exactly what you said. There have been times where I felt like I've been

through seven months into 20 minutes and then other times where I thought,

will this day never end? So I don't know if that's me or if that's the world around me,

but it has been a strange year in terms of time, I do believe.

Yeah, it's definitely flown by. And we're going to do some more shows on the new year and the

new neurology of 2023. But for now, we're going to focus on some paranormal news. And I'm going

to start us off with a report that came out in June where NASA revealed it will finance, quote,

high risk, high impact research into UAP sightings. The study which began this fall will focus on

identifying available data, how to best collect future data, and how NASA can use these data to

move the scientific understanding of UAPs forward. The nine month research will be led by astrophysicist

David Spurgull and operate independently of the Pentagon. The group also includes professors,

scientists, and oceanographer and others who study space. For NASA, astronauts got Kelly and
