It makes things much more complicated.

I've made it a habit to every day go on a walk and a walk up Mount Tabor which is this really nice

spot in Southeast Portland and it used to be I would put on headphones and maybe listen to a

podcast or a book on tape or maybe I'd have a phone call with a family member or

something but lately I've made a really strict practice out of putting on

headphones and just listening to an album all the way through while I go on a walk.

And just, is there anything better than listening to really good music on good headphones

while you're out for a walk in the world? It's this feeling of having a soundtrack for everything that you're seeing and it's something that only you are experiencing and everyone around you doesn't know what you're listening to.

And if you're like me, you're kind of bopping along and you're dancing when a really good song comes on,

and it's something that's both personal and shared with the world around you.
