Years ago, I read the book by Stephen Covey, the five or the seven habits of highly successful

people.

And in the start of the book, he tells the story of being in downtown Chicago himself and

being on one on the L train.

And after a long week at work it was a Friday he was exhausted he

kind of barely made it and they just kind of sat down everybody was reading their newspaper and all of a

sudden a guy gets on with three small children and you've been in this situation the children are

running back and forth and they're shouting and yelling and the father just sitting there and then the kids start hitting everyone's newspaper and running down and screaming and tackling each other and and and bothering people how many people would feel their temperature rising with that so this guy's like I'm not going to say anything I'm not going to say anything I'm not going to say anything I'm not going to say anything and all of a sudden you can't take it no more and he says to the guy dude are you going to take care of your kids or what

And the man looked up and said I'm sorry I hardly noticed we

Just left the hospital where their mother died and I don't even know what to say to them

How many people feel a little bit better about the kids misbehaving now?

Right?

Right?

Okay, so that's, listen, that's a paradigm shift.

I saw it one way and I was so sure that I was right the way that I was seeing it, but then

a new piece of information came

in and now I see it completely differently. Now, nothing, as I've said so often, nothing

is different until we think differently and all change begins with a change of mind.

Okay? You have to think differently. Come on in Okay? You have to think differently.
