So my Papa passed away last month and before he passed away, he gave Adam and I some marriage

advice that we're going to share with you in this episode. And Papa and Grandma were married for 61 years.

So this marriage advice was not something theoretical, but it was something lived. And it's very precious to me and to us.

So we're looking forward to sharing that with you today.

Yes, Papa was an incredible man.

I loved him like crazy.

He's been in my life for the past 20 years.

And it'd be weird to think of a life without him but chrissa has loved her papa for as long as you've been alive and he's been just a good man yeah and that's not

you know us just giving our respects because we have to, but he's just a

wonderful Christian man.

So the last two months have been hard to say the least.

Yeah, for sure.

It's been a time of just reminiscing and being really grateful, just full of gratitude for the life that he lived

and the legacy that he left and what he taught us from as kids, teens, as adults.

And it's been also a time of difficulty for the family, just seeing his decline that was actually quite quick after two years of struggling with Alzheimer's, but not declining physically much until really the last week of his life is where the physical decline was pretty significant. He was taking

walks even a week before he passed away. So just seeing the family, my mom specifically, my aunt, my uncle,

all of my aunts and uncles and cousins, just everyone coming together to care for him.

I know some of you listening can probably relate to the dilemma that is both beautiful

and you're grateful for the life well lived, but also the hardships that you face when there's

a decline like that.

So we've been navigating that the last couple of months.
