Hello and welcome to the physician assistant exam review podcast. My name is Brian Wallace. I'm the host and creator here. And I've been doing this for almost 14 years. Yes, in July, it will be 14 years since I created the website, which is unbelievable to me that we've been doing this for this long, which means we've been able to talk to so many students out there. And today I have something special for you, which is a conversation I had with Nicole. Nicole is an amazing human

being who did, uh, let's just say not well on her first pants and had a long way to go, a very long

way to go. In fact, I was skeptical that she'd be able to move as much as she needed to in one attempt.

Usually people take one to two attempts, two to three attempts to move their scores as far as she did.

And you'll hear her story and what the numbers actually are in just a second.

But she did unbelievably well and is an inspiration to me to see what's possible.

And hopefully to you to see that if you are struggling,

if you find yourself in a tough spot, you can change things by learning some new skills.

You can change things with what you're doing, with how you approach exams.

All of those things are possible.

And, well, I don't want to explain any further.

You emailed me a couple days ago with some exciting news, but I want to get your story

from the start so we can share it with people.

So to begin with, can you describe to me your situation that you had found yourself in

when you were looking to maybe do something a

little bit differently? Yeah, so I took my test the first time in January and, you know,

thought I was ready, thought I did all the right things, you know, took the test and obviously

didn't get the result that I wanted um so at first I was

pretty devastated of course like the first few days I was you know kind of down on myself and then
