Michael reporting outdoors in Panama watching the construction of a bridge that is much in the news in Panama and in Washington.

You will recall that Panama was an early focus of the Trump administration, the president evidencing interest

in recapturing the moment when Panama was most at risk, that was a man named Noriega in the late

20th century. The president saying, that happened then, and we intervened, and now Panama's equally under threat.

You started this adventure in Panama at the Darien Gap four years ago.

Here we are now more to say about the Dary and Gap, but suddenly a bridge under construction in Panama City over the

canal and a construction at the Dary and Gap suggests there are other players interested in Panama.

What do you see, Michael?

Good day from Panama, and I am at the Panama Canal right now, actually, the noise you hear in the background is a combination of wind and highway one.

So I'm right at the Panama Canal.

I'm at the Thatcher Ferry Bridge, for those who are familiar with Panama, you know what I'm talking about?

That's the Highway 1 bridge. That's the main bridge that was built by the United States, and it's a really

nice bridge. But right beside it, they're building now the fourth bridge, which is built by China.

That's why we call it China Bridge. Here they call it Bridge 4. And right now they're working on it.

Right now, I'm watching

them. There's 15 trucks lined up, bringing in more fill. They're building out the

abutment. They're building one of the, also one of the pillars in the canal right now. And
