Michael Underline Jan is how to follow Michael's reporting. He is in Las Vegas, headed back to Texas.

However, we're going to address first a small piece of video that Michael sent to me from

Las Blancos, one of the camps, that migrants, immigrants reach once they pass through the Darian

gap. This Las Blancos looks extremely organized and the video I saw looked amazing. These are

young people in the hundreds. Kitted out for backpacking, for long walks, they look like they're

on the Appalachian Trail. They're in no way looking distressed even though they've come through

the Darian gap. They're headed to buses which will take them to Costa Rica and then reproduce

that same journey to Mexico where they'll get exit visas or entrance visas and head to the

Texas Arizona and Mexico and California border. The video is quite striking in who those people

are compared to what Michael introduced me to in 21 and 22. Michael, a very good evening to you.

Am I right to be surprised? These are not desperate looking young people coming in with only the

things they hold in their hands and flip flops. These are campers. These are long distance actors

and the young people, male and female in groups that look, Michael, they look like it's not just

military age. These are the best young people of the country. Where are these people from? Do we

know what what countries is Venezuela again? Good evening to you, Michael. Good evening.

Many Chinese, huge numbers of Chinese and Venezuelans, mostly Venezuelans, but the numbers

are so big now through the Darian gap. I'm about to head back down there actually. As I come and

go on a Darian all the time, the numbers of Chinese coming through continue to increase

as do the numbers of Venezuelans, as do all numbers across the board on absolute numbers.

The other about four days ago now there must have been six thousand or so in one of the camps

called Las Blancas. I remember Las Blancas was empty last year, but they kept it open. I was in
