bonus podcast as we approach the Easter week. Today we'll

follow the actions of Jesus as he begins the Easter week. It's Palm Sunday. A day filled with joy

and meaning. And for the first time, a large crowd will celebrate Jesus, heralding him as Messiah and King.

But as we'll see, there's deeper meaning that the cheering crowds are missing,

It's a time of discontent in the Holy Land, and the Jewish people are anxious for change.

The promised land is currently occupied by foreign oppressors, and the Jewish people are forced to live under the hand of the Romans.

Certainly God's chosen people have experienced oppressors

before. In fact, there's a laundry list of nations who have forced God's people into submission

throughout the years. And the Romans, they're simply the latest to carry the mantle. But this

isn't the way things are supposed to be.

It's certainly not the way they're going to end up.
