This is the movement of the Holy Family, leading people to Jesus through friendship, good

Welcome to our rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Now for the next eight days, our rosary meditation will focus on what Jesus did and said on each day of Holy Week,

that we can appreciate more fully all that he's done to save us and love him more completely.

Today's meditation is on Palm Sunday and the Monday of Holy Week.

Then, Tuesday, Matthew chapter 22 to 25, and then Wednesday, first part of Matthew 26, Holy Thursday, Matthew 26 to the end of

the chapter, and then Good Friday and Holy Saturday, Matthew 27, and then Easter Sunday,

Matthew chapter 28. When we go to Mass on Palm Sunday, we hear the passion and then again on Friday.

But we never get what happens Sunday afternoon, Palm Sunday through the day of Holy Thursday.

And that's what we're going to meditate on this week.

Now let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for, especially rejoicing in the birthday of Laura Hinkle.

And we pray for the conversion of Andy. And we thank God that it's been three weeks since little Olivia has had a cluster of seizures,

and we pray for her complete healing.

So today, Palm Sunday is the day when they brought the donkey to Jesus.

And descending the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples

began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, saying,

Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord. Jesus is the king, for he said so himself.

On Friday, Pilate will ask him if he were a king, and Jesus will reply,

"'Mine is not a kingdom of this world.

If my kingdom were of this world, my men would have fought to prevent me from being surrendered to the Jews.
