We're going to talk with Syed Kassani, who's an attorney from the Palisades, lost his home in the fire.

And like many of the Palisades, as you heard from the report we played before Brigida's

news, they cannot believe that the DWP is draining the reservoir a second time.

The 117 million gallon reservoir that was drained in 2024 before the fire because the cover

was torn.

Well, they put a new cover on eventually.

It was too late.

Too late for use the reservoir to fight fire.

But now it's been torn again. And so they're going to shut the reservoir down for another nine months, drain it all over again. And they're still trying to sell that this doesn't matter, except they've come up with a backup water supply for fire safety. It's hard to keep up with this. Let's get Syed Kashani on.
