Hello, hello, I'm very honored to be joined today by Hansa Ali Shah, who is a brilliant Palestinian

0:04.9

British writer, writes for a whole variety of publications, and also has been doing broadcast

0:10.8

during the horror of the last few weeks. Hansa, it's lovely to see you. Pleasure. Pleasure to be

you. Firstly, I am interested in just, I suppose for me, it seems so obvious, unbelievably obvious.

0:25.6

I mean, this is like an orgy of untrammeled racism, that there isn't even a

0:29.9

pretence in the media or politicians, that Palestinian civilian life has an equal worth to it,

0:36.2

it is Rayleigh or British civilian life, there's not even a pretence that it strikes me.

0:41.0

1:18.8

that, you know, this is defensive or justifiable, because of their Palestinian before you can express

1:24.2

any sort of sympathy or even empathy. And like I said, there's no attempt to even hide it, I was

1:29.6

incidentally, I was, I was dragging the other day and I heard in the car, I won't say from which

1:34.4

rage of station or presenter, but somebody actually asked a question, are we in danger of losing sight

1:39.3

or forgetting the atrocities on October 7th? And I just thought from any of that, such a glaring

1:44.0

admission, in other words, X amount of thousands of died since then, but those that have died and

1:49.6

have been murdered are seemingly not as important, because, you know, let's focus on those 1400
