Can I just start actually, Anna, because I've been talking about this a lot over the last few days and that's the question of South Africa's submission to the ICJ accusing Israel of genocide.

Now you've been a kind of a representative as I said a spokesperson

and over many years for the Palestinian people you've had to negotiate and

talk to me discuss with US and European counterparts. I'm just wondering, I mean, you've seen the US and the West be complicit in terrible crimes committed against the Palestinian people, but just in terms of now just your perspective on we've got to the point of

South Africa filing Nelson Mandela's nation filing genocide against South Africa. A very detailed

document for anyone who reads it. It's

already evidence. And yet this is with the active support of the US and most

European governments. I just watch all just response to that kind of context?

First of all I think the filing of the genocide case is extremely significant.

It's very important. It's about time and we are deeply grateful to South Africa.

Now I know there's a Hezbollah campaign in Israel to Maline South Africa and so it happens all the time.

But the fact that they did it, the fact that there is one country with the guts to stand up to the US and Israel,

and to really begin a process of accountability for Israel is absolutely important because the

U.S. has in many ways paralyzed the multilateral system, including the ICC, which we've been trying to get to for years and that has refused to

function when it comes to Palestine. But now as a state
